My name is Jonathon, thank you for visiting my website. I am a video producer specialising in high definition wedding DVD production. I am proud to have been one of the first producers in the UK to embrace the high definition recording format. Based in Edinburgh, my services are available throughout the whole of Scotland and northern England. My philosophy is simple:
Whether you're inviting one hundred or a handful of guests, whether your ceremony is civil, religious or civil-partnership, I work in the background to discreetly film your special day. You will always be delighted you recorded your vows and speeches! My service complements static wedding photographs perfectly. I am always happy to attend your wedding rehearsal (my schedule and your location permitting) to view your venue and finalise any specific requirements you may have. Alternatively you may prefer to discuss your requirements via telephone or email. Please remember to ask the venue owner/celebrant for permission to film your wedding!
I always wear a smart suit on the day, arriving at your venue approximately one hour before the ceremony is due to begin in order to set up my equipment and record your guests arriving.
I quietly and discreetly monitor and record your event. I don't use distracting video lights or aparatus that draws attention away from your ceremony. Your wedding photographer will direct and instruct you and your guests on the day in order to obtain the best photographic results. I will film in the background... the last thing you need is the videographer competing with the photographer for everyone's attention! Furthermore, the best results are always the most natural results, your guests will feel much more relaxed and therefore enjoy themselves more if they're not overly conscious they're being filmed! You really will appreciate this when you watch your DVD.
When my services are no longer required (this will vary depending on the package you choose) I will quietly leave you and your guests to continue your celebrations. Please note that my attitude is different to some videographers, I don't 'clockwatch', waiting to leave by a specific time. Even the best planned wedding can experience delays here and there, I will stay until the end of your chosen package, even if there is a significant delay to the proceedings.
The next few days will be spent reviewing and editing your recording, compiling the edited footage into a beautifully balanced and well presented DVD. Your DVD will usually be ready shortly after you return from your honeymoon, the perfect present to welcome you home.
